Following SEM AB’s strategy of focusing on its applications within the field of coil technologies, SEM AB is divesting its Laminova business to Think Automotive Ltd.
-Although the Laminova coolers are the best in the business, the cooling market shares little synergies with our focus areas, ignition systems, stators and sensors. Selling the Laminova business to Think Automotive Ltd, who are experts in the oil cooling business and all other aspects of vehicle plumbing, is logical and ensures that the Laminova brand will be developed successfully in the future, says Tom Gustavsson, CEO, SEM AB.
– Think Automotive has been the worldwide supplier to the aftermarket of the Laminova products for many years and the acquisition is a natural step for us and will further strengthen our business as world leaders for oil cooling products.
